Q. Can I put Dish Network in my business?
A. Yes - Dish Network offers a wide variety of programming tailored to meet the needs of the professional business person.
Q. Do I need different equipment for Public/Private establishments?
A. Though the programming is different for P/P, the equipment is the same cost as residential.
Q. Can I receive music through the system?
A. Dish Network offers over 30 channels of commercial-free music. This can be used for background music, music-on-hold, or for your personal entertainment.
Q. Can I receive Spanish programming commercially?
A. Dish Network offers a package called Dish Latino, which offers 15 channels of Spanish programming including 6 channels of CD-quality music.
Q. Can I install the equipment myself or should I hire someone?
A. Our customers who use Professional installers have fewer technical concerns later on, and professional installation can be quite affordable. 90% of our service calls after the install pertain to customers who installed the system themselves. This is not to say that you can not install the system yourself, however, there is some technical equipment that our service technicians use that helps aid in the ease and effectiveness of the install. Many Public/Private installs can be time consuming and difficult, so we recommend you leave it to the experts, us.
Q. If I install my dish antenna outside, will it get stolen?
A. The dish antenna is the least expensive component of the system and is basically useless without the set-top receiver. Also keep in mind that the dish antenna is small enough to be placed in an inconspicuous location on your home or property.
Q. If I move, can I take the equipment with me?
A. Yes. We distribute programming across the continental United States. Our equipment can be used all over; just call 1-800-454-0843 to have your new install scheduled.
Q. Can I mail my payment via overnight delivery?

Q. My service has been disconnected due to non payment…what do I do?
A. If your service has been turned off, call us at 1-800-454-0843 and we can take your credit card payment. We do charge your account $25 to reconnect service after your account has been disconnected due to non payment.
Q. How do I disconnect my service?
A. As soon as you decide to disconnect your service, call us at 1-800-454-0843. If you disconnect your receiver and dish antenna and don't call us to disconnect your programming, you will continue to be billed. You must call us to terminate the billing.
Q. How many receivers can I have on my account for my commercial establishment?
A. Dish Network allows a total of 6 receivers per account.
Q. Is there an additional fee for having extra receivers on my account?
A. Dish Network charges an additional $4.99 per receiver, per month for the identical programming.
Q. Can I get my Local Broadcast Networks? (ABC, CSB, NBC, FOX).
A. Currently, Dish Network provides networks to over 30 Designated Market Areas (DMA's). If you live in one of these areas, and qualify based on address, we can provide local networks to your business at a low cost. If you do not live in one of these DMA's, we may be able to provide local networks to your business through an off-air antenna.
Q. How does Dish Network compare with cable?
A. Dish Network programming offers more choice and value. All Dish programming is digital, where your cable system will be analog or part analog and part digital. Using Dish Network, your picture quality will be noticeably better. Also the variety of programming is incomparable, Dish Network offers hundreds of Channels of programming.
Q. How are customers billed for Dish Network programming?
A. We bill for programming services in advance. Your first bill from Dish Network will reflect the first two months of your monthly programming cost. Thereafter, Dish Network will bill customers on a monthly basis according to the monthly programming packages you choose. Your monthly billing cycle is based on the date you activate service. This date cannot be changed.
If your payment does not reach us by the date printed on your bill, we do reserve the right to charge a late fee. And if your bill would happen to be exceptionally late, we reserve the right to disconnect your service.

Q. Which credit cards does Dish Network accept for payment?
A. Dish Network accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover.
